Fun with atoms.

Bug is using a new science program this year and we LOVE it. We're using R.E.A.L. Science Odyssey and are studying chemistry. Yesterday she built 10 atom models out of marshmallows.

The large white marshmallows are neutrons, the pink ones are protons and the little green ones are electrons.
Here we have Hydrogen, Lithium and Beryllium:

I like zinc. It's not on the site but I read a book about it and I think (I am not to sure) that zinc was first discovered in Alaska.
