We've called our homeschool "Red Dragon Academy" for several years. This
year (8th grade) we are using the Build Your Library curriculum for the
first time. LOTS of books. Bug is loving it. Instead of a timeline,
she's making a Book of Centuries. Because Bug is Bug, she's doing one
page per person/event. I gave her the go-ahead to have fun with it and
she has. I've taken photos of the ones she's done so far and will share
them in this post.
This was taken on our first day of school. These are most of the books used in the first week. Some of them will be used throughout the year.
She was asked to draw the formation of a fossil. It was illustrated in her book, so she could just copy it, but of course, Bug had to be a bit silly with it. She created "
Dead Ammonite Amos".
